40000 Points Apocalypse?

Yep, I think we have everything on track to get this massive game going. One of the players made a suggestion to also include a miniature scenario in addition to the other things that are going on in the rest of the game.

As we get closer to having this epic battle take place, things are slowly falling into place and getting ready for battle.  Above you can see a map that is going to represent our Apocalypse battlefield.  Since the actual playing area is going to be so large, in order to allow players to actually be able to move their models around during the game, a pair of large tables will be bridged together to allow that to happen.  Now, the bridges won't just be the only way across the table, there are also going to be several teleportation devices that allow models to transport across the gap in between.

Objectives - There are going to be several objectives in the game, the center of each bridge will be an objective, as well as an objective within each deployment zone.  One final objective will also exist on the side table, where players will have to capture it on a dense table designed for infantry an lighter vehicles.  Of course, the blue objects on the map also correspond to entrances that allow players to move forces to and from the secondary underground table.

Exodite Eldar, Blood Angels, Storm Hawks Space Marines, Imperial Guard, and Daemonhunters will be taking on the forces of Chaos Space Marines, Chaos Daemons, Traitor Guard, Blood Axe Orks, 13th Company Space Wolves and Necrons.  I'm getting very excited, and if, that's a HUGE if, we are able to actually get this thing going, I'm quite confident this will be the largest game I will ever play.  Mostly from the fact that I don't know if I could be bothered to get a game of this size going again.

We still have so much to build for this battle, not including all of the stuff that's yet to even arrive from orders.

At least the table is nearly ready to go.
