Top 10 Things I've Learned So Far

Here's a quick list of the top 10 things I've learned about playing with my Exodites:

10) Working one edge of the table works well.

9) Having two Fire Prisms is nice, but so far, combining the beam hasn't been all that better than having two shots. I think I'll be dropping two pie plates a turn now instead.

8) Vypers are seriously one of the best units ever. I'm running Scatter lasers and EML squadrons right now, they always deal more damage than their points cost.

7) Tank shock is incredibly devistating when you can do it to half the table in one go.

6) A jetbike squadron pounce can really do some damage if you time it right.

5) A mounted Autarch with laser lance and mandiblaster is comparable to the old Harlequin Solitare in terms of close combat against most infantry.

4) Firepower works better in number of shots rather than quality of weapon. Those one shotters seem to always miss just when you need the shot.

3) Sneakily using turbo/outright moves to give a unit behind a cover save as well as the unit that boosted is just plain mean.

2) Concentrating on the fast moving enemy units pays off later in the game when turn 5 comes around and everyone is desperate to take some objectives.

1) Kill enemy units to the man. You never know when they're going to come back or do something to disrupt your plans.
