Iggy here from Swordofvaul - I just found your blog after a long absence, and I gotta say nice work!

I still have plenty of reading ahead of me, but right now, I'm just drooling over those sweet Fire Prism pics. I run a single prism in my list, as I haven't had much luck using dual fire prisms due to reserve-denial getting in the way. I'm glad that it's working out for you though. Just a question - do you deploy with your prisms on the table? I'm always conscious of the fact that all it takes is a stun / shaken and it's nap time for a whole turn... Thats why I like to hold mine in reserve, then move 12" on to the board and fire away!

Thanks Iggy. Putting my Fire Prisms on the table or holding them in reserve really depends on if I'm going first or second, and a lot of different things going on the table with the terrain and deployment.

Generally speaking though, if I think I can do some damage I'll deploy my Fire Prism. Worst case I have no targets and I simply move them to collect cover saves while I wait for something to shoot. Best case the opponent puts something down for me to go after.

As far as reserves go, if I get one Fire Prism in, then that gives me one to start doing what I need to start doing with it - be it shooting, or moving. If both come in, even better.
